Why Botswana

Botswana, the NowNow way

Botswana is one of Africa’s great safari destinations — politically stable, prosperous, and committed to high-value low-volume tourism. It shares the Chobe River border with Zimbabwe just 80km from Victoria Falls, making it the natural first day-trip and extension for almost every Victoria Falls traveller.

The country’s crown jewel is the Okavango Delta — the world’s largest inland delta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the Okavango River floods into the Kalahari creating a 15,000 sq km oasis of wildlife.

Chobe National Park, in the north, hosts the largest concentration of elephants on earth — estimated at 130,000 animals.

Big Fact
